My goal is to deliver findings that are not only clear and objective but also grounded in medical evidence and supported by hands-on clinical expertise.

Storyline

Dr. Brett Fink began his academic journey at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Motivated by a strong passion for science and a desire to help others, he pursued studies that would eventually support his future in orthopedic medicine and medical–legal evaluations.

After years of dedication, Dr. Fink graduated with honors, earning a B.S. in Molecular Biology. This achievement strengthened his interest in medical research, patient care, and evidence-based decision-making.

With a solid foundation in biology, Dr. Fink was accepted into Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. There, he began intensive clinical training that laid the groundwork for his orthopedic career.

Dr. Fink earned his M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine. This milestone marked a pivotal step in his dedication to accurate orthopedic evaluations and compassionate patient care.

During this period, Dr. Fink completed a rigorous surgical internship under Dr. Samuel Wells at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. This hands-on experience in surgery and patient care enhanced his clinical judgment and orthopedic diagnostic skills.

Following his internship, Dr. Brett Fink was commissioned as a Medical Officer in the U.S. Navy. He began his service in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and was later appointed Battalion Surgeon for the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines. Notably, his service included deployment during Operation Desert Storm, where he gained essential medical and leadership experience.

After completing his military service, Dr. Fink began a residency in orthopedic surgery at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. During this time, he received extensive training in surgical techniques, musculoskeletal disorders, and injury care. This experience played a key role in shaping his orthopedic and medical–legal expertise.

To deepen his specialization, Dr. Fink completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery under Dr. Mark Mizel at the University of Miami. This advanced program equipped him with the skills needed to treat complex lower extremity conditions with accuracy and confidence.

Since completing his training, Dr. Fink has remained dedicated to delivering patient-centered care in Indianapolis. As a foot and ankle specialist, he combines surgical precision with a compassionate, long-term care approach. Today, he also serves as a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME), providing objective, evidence-based orthopedic evaluations trusted by attorneys, insurers, and injured workers.
